Sadly to say this subject would be my first diary ever but when I saw this i had to make sure it was up everywhere.
While Sarah Palin is talking to an Iowa crowd about Barack Obama and taxes,a woman yells N***** when Palin paused during her speech.Afterwords Palin stutters, seemingly caught off guard and begins to continue her speech.
Transcript
Palin: Obama...Barack Obama has an ideological commitment to higher taxes.
The lessons I believe we have taught our kids would start to erode. Those
lessons about work ethic, hard work being rewarded and productivity being
rewarded...
Women yelling off camera in audience:
And he's a nigger!
Palin: And...and......lessons about, um, the
virtues of freedom and independence while being generous and
compassionate with others. Higher taxes, more government, misusing the
power to tax leads to government moving into the role of some believing the
government then has to take care of us. And government (boos from the
audience) kinda moving into the role as the other half of our family making
decisions for us. Now they do this in other countries where the people are
not free.
Update 1::Sorry if this has been already posted but its not getting the attention i think it deserves honestly.
Here is a more extended version of the palin iowa des moines rally
you hear the lady yell the n-word around 6:32
thanks koopa troppa for the video..
Update 2:Thanks everyone for putting this up on the rec list this is my first time ever posting a diary or being on there!(which is the main reason i forgot the tip jar..which my mom quickly reminded me to do just now). My Name is Jillian, I'm 17, teen parent, and a volunteer for Barack Obama campaign since December 2007. I'm a avid phonebanker & canvasser here in California, usually I'm to busy phonebanking people to get them to volunteer to post anything.
Update 3:I would like to thank all of you for your comments on this. Now i want everyone to know that i wasnt trying to force anyone to believe she said He's a n*****, i know that the audio wasnt absolutely clear to some. Nonetheless,I felt that is what she said. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. In no way am i trying to start any sort of obama supporter war where us liberals are walking down the street with pitch forks. We all can agree to disagree. I felt it was something worth posting. If you think it wasnt fine but dont be rude.
Thanks again!!
Just to set the record straight I hope I am wrong because America should be beyond this sort of thing.
