There are multitudes of endorsements for Obama '08.
Perhaps some of them should be even more widely shared.
Of course the only endorsements that matter will be 270 or more Electoral votes, but hopefully Obama's multitudes of endorsements will contribute something positive to his victory.
Certainly, General Powell's endorsement was the Gold Medal of endorsements in 2008.
Warren Buffett's is extremely valuable as well, particularly as the economy is Issue #1 this year.
Susan Eisenhower's

is my personal favorite, and it was given back on Feb. 2.
Loved Barney Smith too! Deserves much more play.

There are certainly many omissions. Still, an amazingly impressive list.

Some of the Obama endorsements which should receive wider publicity:
Kirbyjon H. Caldwell is the American pastor of the Windsor Village United Methodist Church, a 14,000-member megachurch in Houston, Texas. He is one of President George W. Bush's most influential spiritual advisors.
Caldwell endorsed Barack Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary, and supports him against John McCain in the general presidential election.
Rabbi Ethan Tucker, stepson of Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT, also endorses Obama.
Fontaine Maverick, great granddaughter of Samuel Maverick, from whom the term maverick is originated, is another Obama endorser.

All the many newspaper endorsements are great, but especially ones like
the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.
The Chicago Tribune hasn't backed a Democrat in its 161-year history. And the Times hasn't endorsed a presidential candidate since 1972, when it backed President Richard M. Nixon's re-election. This is also the first time it's endorsing a Democrat for president.

And in terms of "cool people" endorsing Obama, there are millions, but how about this one?
Robert Deniro, a strong Obama supporter.
