We're seeing a lot of push back from the WATB of the right. A lot of hot air and time and energy are being wasted on "Breaking Voter Fraud" stories, but only when the democrats are involved.
Now we see that a very literal reading of the law makes the WATB blood boil, especially when it has the magic word: Soldiers.
About 100 ballots are being called invalid by Virginia Registrar Rokey Suleman, since he remarks that they are missing some vital information - namely, witnesses and addresses.
Alright, I'm a Virginian, and I've voted with absentee ballots for many years now. Although not a Fairfax County voter, I've always found the County Registrars to be very courteous, friendly, helpful, and above all, FAIR. Which seems to be the final settlement here.
The Governor had this to say:
...Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, appearing on WTOP's Ask The Governor program Tuesday, said the board's decision should clear up any ambiguity.
"The Fairfax registrar was very clear [and said,] 'if I can just get a legal green light, I'm going to count these votes,' so I think we got that straightened out.'"
So if this issue is settled, why bring it up?
Well, we have to keep an eye on this, mainly since you can guarantee this will now become a WATB talking point, and maybe even see it in your email:
See? The Democrats so hate (America/Soldiers/Mom/Kittens/Yo Mama) that they are trying to throw OUT Ballots.
A mountain out of a molehill - and yet, we hear nothing from the right-wing craposphere about the Phoney VA voter suppression flier. Once again, we see and old trick being played... "Come on out on the 5th, to vote for the democrats!!"
Meanwhile, from the right, the indignant sound of... silence. After all, they were only targeting black people. Which goes to show how truly low-down these rat-fink shitbags really are.
