Found this in the NY press:
"Three days after Elizabeth Edwards made a health-care reform speech in DC without her wedding ring on, a source tells the New York Post that her cheating hubby, former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, is no longer living with his cancer-stricken wife and that the couple has separated. Elizabeth's reps didn't return requests for comment." (Richard Johnson and staff, Page Six, New York Post.)
Although I volunteered for a different presidential candidate, (Biden) I knew many Edwards supporters all across the country, who made contributions to his campaign, in cash and in volunteer time. These were women and men, young and old, all races, all religions, working on that campaign day and night, thinking this candidate was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I can't even imagine how they felt when the news of his affair broke; how embarrassed, humiliated, and angry they must be.
There's an old saying, what goes around, comes around. With his career in the Democratic Party gone from sight, John Edwards is a true example of this stellar adage.
Elizabeth, we love you....keep the faith!
