With only a few days left before the election, who should you donate your hard earned money to?
PLEASE RECOMMEND!!!!
The advice of "withdraw the republicans" is to focus on the U.S. Senate Races. Getting to 60, or close to 60, is a realistic goal. I am not advocating to not contribute to Obama or to congressional races. My focus if for people that want to send some last minute in-state or out-of-state money to candidates that are in dog fights and can further tip the balance in D.C. And that is in the senate.
These are the top 5:
Georgia: Jim Martin has run an amazing campaign to a statistical dead heat. He needs to break 50%, not just get a plurality, to avoid a run-off and to win outright. This is payback against Saxby Chambliss. Martin has been outspent more than 4 to 1!

Minnesota: Al Franken was fighting against Bush, Cheney, FIXED News and the wingnuts before it was popular to do so. His book "Lies" in 2003 was just brilliant, because anyone could make sense of it and it was funny. Putting Al Franken in the Senate would be the ultimate insult to Hannity, O'Reilly and Coulter. As of 9/30, Coleman had twice Cash On Hand as Franken.

Mississippi: Ronnie Musgrove has run a strong campaign despite a cash disadvantage and Haley Barbour pulling out all the unethical stops to help the ethically challenged Roger Wicker. As of 10/15, Musgrove Cash On Hand: $337,000, Wicker $1.66 million!

North Carolina: Kay Hagan has run one of the strongest campaigns in the country against absentee and "godless monger" Elizabeth Dole. Hagan has consistently kept a small lead on Dole in recent polling, but this could come down to just a few thousand votes. This money would send a message to future wingnuts that want to run discusting ads against dems. Running an ad like like Dole's ad, will mean big money for the democrat.

Kentucky: Bruce Lunford is challenging the Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. The state just voted out its scandal-plagued Repbulican governor by 18-points. And McConell's ties to Bush could prove fateful. Still, McConnell enjoys a substantial fundraising lead and has much more cash on hand. Conservative leaning Real Clear Politics calls this race a toss up. Anything to make McConnell sweat is money well spent!
