The San Francisco Chronicle's online version, SFGate.com is reporting that No on Prop 8 signs grace the yard of Steve Young.

SFGate: Steve Young's wife lines up against Mormon church on Prop. 8
The article reports that Young's wife has contributed to Equality California, the anti Prop 8 group.
While it's Barb Young's name that appears on the checks, she made it clear in a statement issued today through Equality California that the contributions are a family affair.
"We believe ALL families matter and we do not believe in discrimination, therefore, our family will vote against Prop. 8," she said.
Later, she clarified her remarks with this update: "To expand on my earlier email, I am very passionate about this issue and Steve is completely supportive of me and my work for equality. We both love our Church and are grateful that our Church encourages us to vote our conscience. Steve prefers not to get involved politically on any issue no matter what the cause and therefore makes no endorsement."
I live in Utah and am a sixth generation native Utahan, a descendant of polygamous pioneer stock. I am not a member of the LDS church and never have been. I also had the good fortune to be raised by progressive, University of Utah graduates.
The article mentions that Steve Young is the great, great, great grandson of Brigham Young. His football career at BYU and with the 49ers put him high in the pantheon of heroes for LDS Utahans. News that he and his wife are opposed to Prop 8 will shake the LDS majority in Utah like a Wasatch fault earthquake.
The LA Times reports that over $6.8 million has been contributed from outside California to the anti equality campaign. An awful lot of that has come from Utah. I only wish this story had surfaced sooner, before the Utah cash had been sent.
Let's hope the California polls hold true and the proposition fails.
