Not just by each other, but by those who need to hear it most.
As we all know Prop 8 has passed (probably) in California mainly because of massive donations from the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints.
We have a way to tell them what we feel about their decisions.
I was searching online for a way to send an email to the Mormon church as a whole to tell them exactly how much I apreciated their efforts, but I stumbled upon something even better. There is a website where you can link up with a mormon missionary live and instatnt message questions about their faith. The site is mormon.org (no i'm not making that up)in the center of the screen there is a banner that reads "ask your questions chat now." If you click on it it will dysplay a waiting message for a few minutes while a missionary is freed up and then you will have a chance to ask questions directly to those who need to hear them most.
Share your views, make them realize that the mormon church has denied many people their natural rights as humans and that we will not stand for it. Not only is it necessary to make it plain that we are angry; I'll tell you now that it's a lot of fun to see these missionaries struggle with their biggoted views.
I would post some of my favorite comments, but I only thought to write this diary after I had already closed the window. Feel free to post some exchanges here.
Sorry about the short diary, but there's really not much more to be said.
update: In respose to a couple of comments, you guys are probably right it's a lot more productive to talk cordially and find common ground. Don't think that I meant for us to be too agressive, but any sort of discourse should help to open things up.
