I sit here in front of my computer in tears tonight. The past 20 some-odd hours have been a blur to me. All day long I was waiting for it to hit me.
I think it finally did.
It's going to be a short diary tonight because I want to get back to the festivities. I thought I would share some truly remarkable clips that were taken from around the country last night.
While you are checking them out, think about what Andrew Sullivan pointed out earlier today.
Yeah, they are singing the National Anthem.
So are they.
This next clip is from the University of Washington in Seattle.
We are really taking back this great country aren't we?!
This one is from East Carolina University. What's amazing to me is the joy that is being shared from perfect strangers. . .black, white, latino, etc.
This is from Seattle.
The sights and sounds from Philly. Once again, you can hear the echos of the National Anthem being sung down the street!
Here is San Fran with their own theme music!
This is from the University of Illinois. . .Amazing.
Here is Berkely:
Here are a few from DC:

Now for my personal favorite that I have found so far. This was put to some Lennon by juliusgwyer.
Beautiful.
A few from Obama's new street address.
I hope they woke Bush up.
What a moment. We will remember this for the rest of our lives.
I'm not the best at waxing poetic and figured that these clips are worth a thousand words.
I know people have their own videos of last night's celebration so please share!!!!
I will update anymore videos that I can come across on youtube.
We did it ya'll.
