And add to that: NM-Sen, NM-1, NM-2, CO-Sen, CO-4, ID-1 (IDAHO!!!), AZ-1, OR-Sen, and MAYBE CA-4, WA-8, AK-Sen, AK-AL...
And the fact that MT was only minus 3, AZ down 9.
The story that I think is missing is the fact that Democrats made HUGE HUGE gains in the west, despite certain painful setbacks (CA Prop 8).
Being from the west, the left coast, I am proud to see that we are slowing inking the nearby states blue. I just cannot get over the fact that Nevada was +12 and New Mexico +15. Those are both states that Bush won in 2004. Obama cleared them both by 120,000 votes. And Obama is not even from the West! Clearly, the west is itching for a change. The only state where the Republicans made any improvement so far was Alaska, and with all those absentees out, even that might change.
