It's true. He fundraised for Bill Clinton in 1992 so that means he's going to bring in an all-Clinton administration.
That clearly means that he's going to somehow trick Obama out of the presidency and give it to Hillary!
"Mr. President-elect, please sign this document."
"What is it, Rahm?"
"....It's for the file, sir."
"Oh, ok."
diabolical laughter
Reactionary idiots on the left will always give all of us a bad name, but the speed with which they've leapt onto Rahm being a horrible choice, naught but foreshadowing the recycling that Obama will do seemed ludicrous at first, but I'm starting to agree.
We voted for CHANGE, God damn it!
It's been nearly TWO WHOLE DAYS.
Where's the fucking change?
We need to put nothing but liberals into the positions of power! We need to have a partisan stranglehold onto all the important positions.
Now THERE'S some good change!
Otherwise, the pro-war centrist establishment will stage a coup somehow and take the Presidency away from the left of center Obama!
ZOMG!
We need to save Obama from himself.
After all, he didn't beat the Clinton machine without listening to our advice, and he didn't win the Presidency without wading into the gutters and bringing the smear fight to McCain, right?
....
Yeah, maybe we should stop with the reactionary idiocy.
Rahm being Chief of Staff is not going to usher in a "recycling of the Clinton Administration" (oh noes! Anything but a successful and propserous administration!)
He's not going to ensure that centrist pro-war people take over the Administration.
He's going to kick ass and take names for OUR PRESIDENT.
And, I think we've all noticed, Obama makes up his own damn mind. No one is going to control him.
Everyone relax.
This is only the beginning, we've got a long way to go. Going apeshit over his first choice is a wonderful reminder of why exactly people don't take us seriously, other than our fundraising powers.
