The Press Conference is done, the new President Elect was assured, witty and authoritative. His posture displayed great confidence and increasingly the gravitas befitting his new position. Questions ranged from Iran and Economy to Puppies. Beyond the obviously important contents of the questions and answers, it was particularly interesting to see the press reaction. They stood when he entered the room, and according to Ben Smith, none of them used a laptop, opting to look at the new President Elect rather than a screen. Oh and notably missing from called on press? Fox news. If you recall Bush's first press conference after the 04 election, a fox reporter was called on second or third i believe. I hope this is a new precedent from the new President.
