With DNC Chairman Howard Dean expected to step down from his post, we need someone to lead our party and continue the great success we've had since the 2006 elections. Who better to manage a massive 50 statewide operation that Plouffe? Thoughts and more...

In 2004, the Democratic Party was in tatters with defeats and setbacks drowning us in despair. We needed a progresive leader, from the "Democratic wing of the Democratic Party." That man was Howard Dean, the people's champion.
Now with DNC Chairman Dean expecting to step down, one of the most important jobs in the country is up for grabs. Who better to get the nod than Obama's campaign manager, David Plouffe?
As Huffington Post reports: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...
As the manager of Obama's campaign, Plouffe steered the best-run presidential campaign in years. He put together an effective campaign structure. He efficiently matched man, message, money, and machine. Developing his own version of Dean's 50-state strategy, Plouffe expanded the electoral map for Democrats. In public, he projected an image of calm, confidence, and competence. His public spin was always tethered to reality. He came across a master mechanic who believed in the mission, not an ideologue or a grandstander. And he beat the toughest, most experienced operation in politics: the Clintons.
We have the Republicans on the ropes. They believe they can come back in the 2010 midterm elections and have big gains in the House and Senate. We can't let them do that. Plouffe has the experience to get the job done and maintain Dean's 50 state strategy and compete in races across the country. With Plouffe, we can stay on offense, instead of being on the defensive on the retreat.
So who do you think should be the new DNC Chair?
