Hey y'all. Welcome the the last episode of Saturday Morning Maher for this year. At least, the last new one. If you tuned in last week, you may remember the lively debate about copyright, so I've decided to alter the format slightly. And by slightly, I mean quite a fucking bit.
Last night's panel could only be described as, well, odd. Republican Florida Representative Ileana Ros-Leathinen sat in as the token GOPer, boy wonder Ashton freakin' Kutcher represented Hollywood's talking points, and Newsweek's Jon Meacham came to play for the liberal media. The interview was with Sean, "Puffy...er, P Daddy, er, Doo-wah Diddy, er, you know who the hell I'm talking about" Combs, and Dan Savage bookended the panel discussion towards the end.
You guys should be used to the way this goes, but in case this is your first day, here's how we do this:
This is a community diary. The best part about this series is the discussions that take place in the comment thread. In case it gets buried by the 3,465,983,002 Lieberman diary, we ask that you watch one clip, comment, then come back and watch the rest.
So here's your altered version of Saturday Morning Maher
Opening Segment: For the love of Allah, will Sarah Palin just go the hell away...
Diddy Interview
As of this time, these are the only videos that are available...I'll try to get the other (should be two) up as soon as I can.
Your final New Rules: Damn, New Rules got better as the panels got worse
