Ever since the story about replacing the President elect that appeared on
front page (I can't find it) I've been pondering who should be selected.
There are several good candidates and some not so good ones. I personally
have made my choice and let the Governor know about it.I'm hoping you will
join me in pressuring him to make the right choice.
I'm for Tammy Duckworth. She will not only represent the state well. But
is an outstanding advocate for veterans and those on active duty. As a
veteran myself (Strictly a peace time vet under President Jimmy Carter) I
am always concerned about the well being of those willing to put on the
uniform and serve.
Major Duckworth has a B.A. in political science from the University of
Hawaii as well as a Master of Arts degree international affairs from George
Washington University, and was working on a Ph.D. in political science at
Northern Illinois University with research interests in the political
economy and public health in southeast Asia when she deployed to Iraq.
I'd say she is more than capable and has a good chance of being
re-elected after the voters of Illinois get to know her statewide. You can
check her biography on Wikipedia here.

Contact
I'm not making the most eloquent case for her as I am just a blue collar
guy. So take a look at some interviews I have found from youtube and
decide for yourself. If you agree do please let the Governor know your
mind in this matter. I have encourage friends and family and even
colleagues to do so.
It seems that embedding a video is beyond me so links will have to do.

And last but not least a campaign commercial for Tammy's unsuccessful
