Hi everyone. I was looking at some of my older photos, and felt like posting a few. Just one of those random Tuesday things.
I guess what spurred me was thinking about this photograph, and wondering what was in this guy's mind at the time? Yes, he's hanging a vacuum cleaner off the edge of his roof. He came out of the window, tied the vacuum cord to something on the roof, and hung the vacuum off the edge. No idea what this was about.
So I thought I would post this, and a few of my other favorite photos. Some I took because the subject was beautiful - others just because it was... interesting. I'm quite obviously not a pro, but I enjoy it anyway. :)
Feel free to add your own photos in the comments!
Update - It's actually Wednesday, so I changed the title. :)
This was up by the Big Four ice caves, in Washington State. When I was up where this girl was sitting, it looked flat, and you couldn't tell how high you were (or that there were huge holes in the snow beneath you. My daughter and a few others were down below, and told me I should quickly and carefully get off the snow. When I did, this was what I saw - and we tried to warn this girl about what was beneath her. Her response was "Whatever". Sometimes you just can't see what is right under your feet!
Now on to the prettier stuff... these are pictures of some of the places that make me feel happy and relaxed:
This is just a yard in the Seattle area that we visited one day... it was beautiful.

I don't know what kind of butterfly this one is, but yes, the picture is right-side up. :)
I took this next picture with my ex's camera - at 2 am, on my back in our driveway, fighting off the ants. :)
These tulips were at the Arboretum in Seattle:
I'll leave you with this one - spring in Seattle.
