If anyone needed another reason why Barack Obama defeated Hillary Clinton, one need look no further
than the contrast in campaign teams.  Of course, most of us knew this already, except that it keeps getting worse for the Clinton side....

Howard Wolfson, that wonderful prick with the fear of flying spouts off in the New York Times  about
how he was haunted by Matt Drudge the entire campaign.

By the end of the campaign, I was seeing the Drudge siren in my sleep. As people in politics know all too well, Matt Drudge, the Internet provocateur who runs the Drudge Report Web site, posts a flashing siren whenever he wants to alert readers to major campaign news or rumors. The siren haunted my dreams and was always in the corner of my eye — except when it was in plain sight, on my computer screen, signifying success or, more often, terrible failure and impending doom. As soon as that siren started flashing, instant messages would pop up, just below the siren, one after another — each one beginning with “Seen Drudge?” until my entire computer screen was filled with instant-message boxes illuminated by the light of Drudge’s siren. It might have been beautiful if it hadn’t been so frightening.

So instead of worrying what folks on Dailykos, Huffington Post were saying and thinking, the Clinton machine was obsessed with right-wing media and it's kingpin Matt Drudge.  This serves as a concise metaphor about  both HRC's campaign and the entire Democratic Party hackery that I hope has been discredited in this past year's election.

Future Democratic Party campaigns please take note: no one gives a fuck what Matt Drudge thinks anymore!

Howard Wolfson should be ashamed for being so clueless as to even admit that he is so out of it!  And Senator Clinton please keep this guy as far away from Foggy Bottom as humanely possible.

Happy Thanksgiving Kossacks!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
