I know, it's that time of year again.  The time of year when downtrodden Christians innocently go out singing about and decorating the world with their Love of Our Savior Jesus Christ.  And just like every year, those intolerant Atheists who control our nation with their massive cabalistic organization, their top-down organized branch of hate, try to ruin it for us all by not believing in God.

Oh the humanismaty!  Oh the secular doom!  Why oh why must a group as powerful, influential, and with such overwhelming support from so many quarters try to inflcit their grinchy lack of belief on the good Christian martyrs?  What can good progressives like us do to stop the intolerance of Atheists?

Every day I read stories about how atheists--in obvious violation of the Constitution--try to force local courthouses to put up displays of not-god and not-commandments.

Every week we see stories about how gangs of godless atheist thugs beat young Christian carolers for braving the secular streets with and raising their voices with the joy of their beliefs.

And all to often there are reports of atheist congressman discussing that since the United States was founded on atheist principles, Darwin's face should adorn every church and steeple.

And have I complained about the atheist music in the stores, and the atheist decorations, and the atheist holiday greetings of "There is no god, have a good day?"

It all smacks of oppression to me.

People are asking, intelligently enough, what the blazes ticked me off.  This is what did it.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
