I've been sick for the past few days so I don't have too many topics tonight. Also, this is another week without a new episode of Get Your War On which is unfortunate.
I'm too sick to even get my drink on. Please pity me.
I'm sure everyone here knows that Barack Obama wrote a book called Dreams From My Father. How many of you know that he won a Grammy for the audiobook version of it? I just finished listening to it recently and I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially if you have 6 hours to kill. Obama goes through the story of his life and does remarkable impressions of everyone who plays a part. Check your library or if you're one of the rare people with money these days, buy it.

The Big 3 US Automakers need money. They don't deserve it, but all hell will break loose if they don't get it.

Joe the Plumber won't go away. After publishing a book in record time, he's back saying saying how appalled he was at John McCain on the candidate's very own tour bus. That's enough about Joe the Plumber already.

Speaking of people whose time is up, we move on to Governor Blagojevich, whose hair looks like it's made out of LEGO.

Current and incoming Secretary of Defense Bob Gates thinks we need more blimps in the military:
The decision to keep Gates could spell the end of the Army's $160-billion Future Combat Systems program, and dim Air Force hopes for large numbers of new high-tech F-22 fighter jets. At the same time, smaller projects — perhaps blimps or light planes useful for ongoing conflicts — are likely to find new support.
Some Army officials are pushing development of a small blimp equipped with an automated high-powered sniper rifle that could provide a form of inexpensive but effective air support for platoons in Afghanistan.
That sounds great.

David Gregory starts hosting Meet The Press on Sunday. I won't be watching.
I actually have been satisfied with David Shuster taking over Gregory's old show. What do you think?

Since we're heading into a new Depression, this video seems appropriate somehow.
