Zimbabwe's information minister has blamed the British government for a cholera outbreak which has killed almost 800 people, claiming his country has been a victim of a "biological" attack.
"This is a serious biological-chemical weapon; a genocidal onslaught on the people of Zimbabwe by the British [who are] still fighting to recolonise Zimbabwe and using their allies."
It's still unclear why on earth Great Britain wishes to recolonize Rhodesia, but there you are. Perhaps there are diamonds there. At any rate, it's time for all anti-imperialists to stand up for Comrade Bob and the People of Zimbabwe, and against the evil aggression of Gordon Brown.

Another linky.
The latest accusations over the cholera crisis came as the World Health Organization said the death toll had risen to 792, and aid groups warned the epidemic could last for months.
"Cholera is a calculated, racist attack on Zimbabwe by the unrepentant former colonial power, which has enlisted support from its American and Western allies so that they can invade the country," Information Minister Sikhanyiso Ndlovu told a news conference.
"The cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe is a serious biological, chemical-war force, a genocidal onslaught, on the people of Zimbabwe by the British," he said. "It's a genocide of our people."
This latest round of fun started when reports emerged of a growing outbreak of cholera in Zimbabwe. It doesn't help matters when the inflation rate is now higher than I know the number for and the economy has basically stopped. People weakened by hunger are more susceptible to water born bacteria infection, one supposes.
At first, Comrade Bob denied there was any cholera. He has since, as we say in American politics, "walked that back" a little.
One day earlier, Mr. Mugabe had proclaimed in a nationally broadcast speech that "there is no cholera," comments his spokesman George Charamba said yesterday were meant as "sarcasm."
Update: Every once in a while, I see a Zimbabwe diary go by, apparently unread. It makes me sad. If my headline makes a few more people look at the situation, it's worth a few donuts.
