Everyone knows that New York has a Senate seat being vacated by Hillary. Everyone knows also that Caroline Kennedy has expressed an interest in said seat. Now, that interest seems to have erupted in a firestorm in the blogosphere because of course, we all know the Kennedy's are elitist and appointing Caroline will be akin to creating a monarchy.
Yes, that horrible name, KENNEDY!!!
Why, that would be like appointing Jeb Bush in Florida!! Those Kennedys need to be put in their place!! Yes, lets look at some of the terrible things that elitist name has wrought upon our country!! Earlier this year, we had this elitist move by the lady who is attempting to buy Hillary's seat without anyone knowing where she stands:
OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama.
My reasons are patriotic, political and personal, and the three are intertwined. All my life, people have told me that my father changed their lives, that they got involved in public service or politics because he asked them to. And the generation he inspired has passed that spirit on to its children. I meet young people who were born long after John F. Kennedy was president, yet who ask me how to live out his ideals.

And of course from her elitist uncle with the same, monarchal name:
How dare those elitist try to use their money to destroy our country!!!
I mean, who could forget this blast of elitism from the past??:
Or even worse, this:
Of course, we can't forget where all this began:
Cmon Democrats, do we really have that short of a memory??? If it weren't for that evil, monarchal and elitist name, KENNEDY, I may well have never cared about politics, much less become a Democrat.
Caroline, I am proud you are carrying on the awesome tradition of compassion, caring, and stregth left to you by your wonderful family, and I hope to God to see another wonderful Kennedy in the Senate. As for your detractors, jealousy has never been a virtue.
I for one, don't have that short of a memory.
