This is a short diary, but I haven't seen the news posted yet.
The recount in Virginia's 5th Congressional District has concluded, and while the vote total changed by eighteen votes, Tom Perriello was certified the winner over turncoat Virgil Goode.

Democrat Tom Perriello was confirmed Wednesday as the winner in his race against Rep. Virgil Goode (R-Va.), as the recount in their race concluded.
Perriello’s 745-vote margin from Election Day wound up falling by just 18 votes, to 727.
Goode’s district is one of three seats that Virginia Republicans lost in 2008. Democrats also took over retiring Rep. Tom Davis’s and outgoing Rep. Thelma Drake’s seats.
I'm thinking of sending Goode a Koran. ;)
