Yesterday, the blogosphere buzzed with the curious plane crash that killed Michael Connnell, the GOP's IT guru whose firm may have played a key role in the missing White House emails, and had a starring role in Ken Blackwell's Ohio election follies of 2004.
The story got widespread attention following Raw Story's excellent coverage. You might think the Washington Post, NYTimes, LA Times, Fox, SF Chronicle, and the Chicago Tribune would be interested. Nah. The Times didn't bother to even mention it, and the others ran the minimal AP wire story that said essentially nothing.
On a day when Len Downie wonders aloud if the Watergate story might have even happened today, this lack of interest is enough to make the beanie on my tin foil hat spin at 2900 rpms.
At least the Free Press (circ. 50) came through.
We get the MSM we deserve.
