If Jeb Bush decides to run for the US Senate from Florida in 2010, here are three questions I would like the traditional media to ask him.
- Since you supported Gov. Schwarzenegger's initiative in California in favor of redistricting reform, do you also support the initiatives that FairDistrictsFlorida.org is promoting here in Florida?
- Do you approve of the way Gov. Crist and the Republican legislature dealt with the property insurance crisis here in Florida by socializing risk through the creation of a state backed Catastrophe Fund or would you have preferred that they followed the recommendations of the committee you created?
Followup if the answer is Yes, he does approve.
How does that fit into your prescription for saving the Republican Party by getting back to small government basics?
- Did you or a member of your staff have any contact with Coleman Stipanovich, former executive director of the State Board of Administration here in Florida, during your association with Lehman Brothers?
LET THE SQUIRMING BEGIN!
The background for the first question is detailed in the link provided. If you're new to Florida politics, the context for the other two can be found in my post called Rebranding the FL Dem Party in 2010.
