And he still manages to show up for work

Here is the incredibly disheartening vote on the Dodd Ammendment, proposing to stripping the new FISA Bill of Imunity for telecoms.
Roll Call on Dodd Ammendment
I see Obama voted in favor of it, but there something missing. What is it? Let me see. Oh there at the bottom, under "Not Voting" - Clinton (D-NY)
This simply is not leadership. I don't like kicking a person when they are down, even Senator Clinton. But this is an important day on an important bill, and she is in the neighborhood. It's not a big mistake, but it is a mistake. Especially when Senator Obama shows up and votes the right way. It's a tough job and you have to prove that you can do it. That means campaigning in three states and making an important vote. One candidate did it, the other didn't.
As an aside, what the _ is wrong with Senate Democrats voting against this. Their approval rating is at an record low and they just keep helping big money. Casey (no relation), thankfully, has been consistent in his support of Dodd.
Update:
She is 0 for 2. Barack again votes with Dodd on exclusivity.
On exclusivity ammendment
Again kudos to my Senator, Bob Casey.
Update:
Wow is she racking up the missed votes today. She is up to 7, including the latest vote for cloture.
Senate roll call votes for 2/12/2008
Just read the count on cloture and Bob flipped voting Yea. Come on Bob, what was that? You were doing so well today.
