20 states in 1 week & 20,000 in Wisc. ! ! UPDATED

20 states in 1 week - look what Obama has done. But first . . .
Holy crap! Just got back from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
The arena seats over 17,000 for basketball. Every single seat was taken, and there were people in the aisles. There were at least 2,000 on the floor (including yours truly, who waited in line for HOURS to get close to the stage . . . whew). The largest crowd in the arena's history - tonight !

There was an overflow area for those who could not get into the arena, that seated up to 2,000.
By my count that is over 21,000. It was unbelievable. CNN was on the videoboard and people were cheering Wolf Blitzer announcing that Obama was ahead in the overall delegate count. People did the wave, the 'fast wave' and the 'slow wave' (it's a Badger thing, I think). It was like a rock concert.
But back to the amazing story. What a week for Barack Obama.
From Feb 5 to Feb 12 - in the last week alone - Obama has won 20 states (including DC). Throw in the US Virgin Islands too, while awaiting the Democrats Abroad results.
A picture is worth a few thousand words:

Obama has won the most states by far. He has a significant number of big wins. He leads in the popular vote. He leads in the pledged delegate count. He now has a clear lead in the overall delegate count.
DONATE HERE !
Number of States/Other contests won* (includes District of Columbia and American territories) :
Obama - 23 (includes US Virgin Islands)
Clinton - 12 (includes American Samoa)
That's 23 of 36 contests - two-thirds. Still awaiting results from DemsAbroad. More details below . . .
* This does not include MI or FL, nor should it. Neither of those states has been decided and presently per DNC rules they both have 0 delegates. We can throw out VI and AS and still show Obama having won 21 of 33 states - again, still two-thirds.
UPDATED TO ADD :
Big Wins
Obama has 19 states in which he got 55 % or more of the vote, and - get this - a stunning 14 states in which he has received 60 % or more of the vote. (Hillary has gotten 35 % or less of the vote in 14 states !)
Pledged Delegates
Obama has a strong lead in pledged delegates, 1,052 to 951.
Overall Delegates
Obama now has a clear lead in overall delegates, 1208 to 1185 per the generally Clinton-favorable CNN.
Popular Vote
In the delegate contests decided to date, Obama has a clear lead in the popular vote, 9.2 million to 8.5 million.
Here's the kicker : Even if Florida and Michigan are included (which I adamantly oppose, because of reasons given above, namely DNC rules, plus the lack of a real campaign in either), it's undeniable : Obama still leads in the popular vote, 10 million to 9.7 million!
Let's review, shall we.
36 states/contests decided to date:
OBAMA - 23 states/contests won to date, Jan 3 to Feb 12, 2008:
Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Carolina, US Virgin Islands, Utah, Virginia, Washington.
From the Northeast to the Deep South. From the Midwest to the Plains to the Mountains and Northwest. Donate to the Obama campaign HERE !
CLINTON - 12 states/contests won to date, Jan 3 to Feb 12, 2008:
American Samoa, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee.
No matter how you look at it, Obama is leading every which way, and as he said tonight in Madison, he's won in the North, he's won in the South. He's won in the East, he's won in the West. And he's won in between.
C'mon, you know you wanna - Donate Here !
And now I go 'off-line' for the next week, cuz Obama has to win my home state, and it's not going to be a walk in the park !
YES. WE. CAN.
