              i was so excited when i found out thats what she does. i wanted to be one too when i was in single digits. apparently paleontologists have work in California - something about state law requiring paleontological survey for certain types of land development.

                when I was in Kindergarden.. I lived in MI, I think, and I remember building a snowman and some neighborhood bullies knocked it's head off.. or stole the head or something....               Still a dinosaur geek anyway. I figured out about the sixth or seventh grade that there was absolutely no way I could handle actually going on digs. Something about a personal fear of scorpions not meshing well with a profession that involves sharing wilderness with the things on a regular basis.
