Fox News hatchet job of Michelle Obama

Thom Hartmann, on his national radio program today exposed a Fox News hatchet job where they had edited out the word "really", as I am "really proud of my country" from her speech given a few days ago
The edited videotape has a noticable jump in it. Fox has the video linked to its website and is using it as a swiftboating tool.

  There are two speeches.  In one she uses the magic word "really" and in the other she does not.  Hartmann is using a bad copy of the former.

  FOX does lots of hatchet jobs.  This isn't one.

    searching for proof of this. There is zero evidence of this claim. Every single youtube and audio clip I've seen and heard are from the exact same speech -- the background noises match, the signs in the background match, everything matches.

    Please -- if you have a link to the alleged Milwaukee speech where she does not say "really," you'll have the first piece of evidence.

          But the "edited" version (or damaged, whichever is true) is not their doing.  It doesn't even LOOK like their doing.  If it's edited, it was done by some kid in a garage, not one of the best-funded "news" operations on the planet.

        or just a damaged copy.  If the version on Hartmann's page is edited it's an awful homemade edit.  

        Hartmann could save a lot of confusion if he'd correct himself on his site.

    does nothing for either Repug or Democratic campaign. It is an open attack on Democracy. FOX needs to be held accountable, whether they actully altered the video, or are using someone else's editing.  If the contiue to air it, they are criminal in their intent.  They don't get a pass on this one.
