Me and 7 Obama Supporters - Wish me luck

I am a long term Hillary supporter and my dear wife supports Senator Obama.  I am also a life long Democrat who has voted for every democrat since McGovern and will vote for our nominee in November.

Today we are off to visit friends who've moved to Vermont.  The friends and neighbors we will be visiting are all Obama supporters.  The food will be awesome, the wine even better, but, but....

I fear for my mind.  My individuality.  My undying belief that Hillary Rodham Clinton is the single best person to run for President in my lifetime.  

In the interest of friendship and social niceties I will have to eat and drink so I'm asking my fellow Hillbots to watch my back.  I'll avoid any non-alcoholic punch style drinks but I can only be so careful.

If I'm not back here by noon Sunday please, please send in the rescue squad.

I'll be at the third house on the left.  Here in Vermont.

This is serious people.  I love you all and I Hope against Hope that I return the loyal Hillary supporter I am today.

      his endearing quality, that probably comes from growing up without his real dad, is that he needs love. I'm sure he got a lot, but not from the one he wanted.  His nice supporters respond to his desire, just like some did with Bill Clinton and could forgive his sexual escapades we all knew about before Bill was elected.  Hillary doesn't have that need, she can keep going even when she's demonized, her thing is more giving love than getting it. She had some advantages and she felt bad for those who didn't share her good luck, what she calls her blessings, and so she has more to give. Be kind to them, hampster, they're good people, they're responding to him on a personal level so in their hearts they're more like HIllary.  Go figure.

          love someone who needs it, it's a way of loving your own self, everybody's lovable.  Some of his supporters of course mainly hate her, and want to see her humiliated by losing to a younger, and less qualified man. And some are softer, they don't care much, see little difference, and would prefer to see some new faces in the white house. It's those of us who see her candidacy as transformative and who see the results-based model and the no-ego model, my goodness she can take a beating and keep on doing her best, and the helping those who are least able, who seem to have the harder time explaining to his supporters why we're so much in favor of her candidacy. That I can't explain, seems to me that some of his libertarian supporters are rather heartless.  But I'd bet hampster's friends are sweet and are responding to his need to be loved.  They want to give the kid a chance.

  So you might say that I am the family member "gone bad".  Oh yes, my family lives in Texas, and my sister sends me photo essays of her HRC rallies.
