Obama & Patriotism - Help to Fight Back!

The attacks on Obama and his Patriotism and by association all Liberals/Progressives keep coming. Check out Republican Rep. Jack Kingston continue the attack today. He thinks it "fun" because it makes us mad. Shocking! Democrates get mad if you insult their Patriotism.

So the question is what can we do to fight back - We have ceded the high ground in the fight for too long and I think its time we struck back but how?

I have a few ideas about the Flag pin so I put up a poll specifically about Obama and the Flag pin. But I think the issue is much bigger than the pin so I am reaching out to the Dkos community for some solutions. I for one love this country and am sick of the right claiming we don't. Please help via the comments come up with some good ideas.

•  He should wear a big Uncle Sam hat

  And carry sparklers around and have a music box in his pocket playing God Bless America on a continuous loop with his hand duct taped over his heart.  That way we'd really be showing them that we can't be pushed around.

  Or maybe he should continue to point out that serving your community and your country is pretty damn patriotic.

•  I always tie flag pins

  and magnets to supporting the proud country and laborers who worked so hard manufacturing them. Most people laugh or grunt angrily depending on how republican they are, but everyone gets it.
