Lieberman Hearts McCain

I happened to turn to C-Span and caught a McCain campaign rally and my head just about exploded.  When the camera started to pan the crowd...

There was LIEBERMAN and his wife IN THE FRONT ROW, applauding enthusiastically.

Is this dude looking for another VP shot?

Why haven't they stripped him of his committee assignments, or better yet, stripped him of his clothes and thrown him in the street?

And what, pray tell, does it say about Obama that he considers Lieberman a mentor?  Is that just bad judgement?  Or something more nefarious?

  that this was the guy who was the VP pick of Saint Al, isn't it?

  Or that once upon a time, foaming Zell Miller was a big-timer at the DLC, and delivered the keynote address that introduced Bill Clinton at the 1992 Democratic Party National Convention (Bill Clinton praised him as a "brilliant" governor)

  Or that James Carville (a former Zell Miller consultant) and Paul Begala wrote a 2000 Washington Monthly article urging Al Gore to choose Miller as his running mate.

  a McCain-Lieberman ticket might win against HRC as she is so hated by conservatives; JM/JL would draw lots of independents and conservative D's.

  the rumor is he wants Sec. of State. I'm just glad he endorsed a publican.  It would have been the kiss of death for him to endorse Obama and I originally thought he would, after Obama started this post partisan crap.  mccain can have him.  He means nada in the GE.
