Spring Break, part two

I know all about the agita the polls are giving everyone here. But no matter what happens there is one thing for certain, Things are going to be uglier and uglier over the next six weeks.
We are all in need of a short vacation. So let's think about where to take it, shall we?
Consider Grand Bahama.
About fifteen miles east of Freeport, Grand Bahama Island is a place called Taino Beach. Pure white sand separating a calm sea from a palm forest. It goes on for about three miles before a fence put up by a rich landowner cuts it off. They take people here from cruise ships and hotels primarily for the view.
Taino beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. Clean, bright and perfect.
Sixty miles due east of West Palm Beach Florida, Grand Bahama Island is the main core of the northern archipelago of the Bahamaian commonwealth. There's not much here besides hotels and beaches, On the westernmost island, there is an oil refinery, and Freeport is full of banks, but that need not concern us. There's about a hundred miles of rest and relaxation before you have to take a short ferry to the Abacos. The big problem is that the hotels are all relatively expensive.
If you've got lots money to burn, spend a week there, If not, there's a ferry of sorts from Ft. Lauderdale that has daytrips for about a hundred bucks per person.
But then you'd have to hear about the June primary or something like that. However, the locals won't mention it unless you ask.
