  My only prediction is that the Kansas Jayhawks won't win the championship.

  Bank on it.

  And if they do, my depression will rival the depression I felt in 2004 after the Kerry loss.  It is very hard to deal with Jayhawk fans but much easier after they take a dive in the tournament.

    Only last week they were projected to be a #4 seed. Even this morning ESPN bracketology projected them as a 5 and Yahoo had them as a 6.

    And should IU get past Arkansas, the reward is a date with North Carolina.

  after they had to play two games yesterday.

  Now time to see where Stanford gets shafted slotted -- with Washington State a #4 seed, the Cardinal have to be at least a #3 after they finished 2nd in the conference and gave UCLA two good battles in the past two weeks (last week of regular season and in the tournament championship).

  I got that "Go Georgia Bulldogs" cheer caught in my head again yesterday and today during the weather maligned SEC tournament.  It is almost as bad as getting "Rockytop" lodged in there.  Though I am almost willing to take a baseball bat to my head when Rockytop gets stuck on replay!

  The Wildcats had a heck of a rough injury ridden plus new coach season.  Glad they are in the big dance at all!  Go blue!  Next year should be FUN!!!!  And no, under NO circumstances can I ever cheer for Louisville, there are some things that are DEFINITELY against my religion (basketball IS a religion for a U of K Wildcat fan, good year or rotten.)
