  I lucked out by finding (on just my second try) the exact same Battle Hymn recording that he used, which kept the blending pretty seamless. (I couldn't find the "woman salute" clip on YouTube except in his own commercial.)

Where was Nicholson's original version shown? On TV, or just something for You Tube? I heard about it, but hadn't seen until now.

  There were sooo many more I could have used, but things stop being funny after about 2 minutes or so (just watch SNL). Nicholson's version was just for the web, but most networks have shown it, in part or entirety, on their broadcasts, so it's been on TV quite a bit regardless. :)

WJC has been an ass, but when he made the "fairy tale" remark, he was talking about the press coverage of BHO's Iraq war stance and subsequent votes.

His argument was bad, but he wasn't using "fairy tale" to describe BHO's candidacy.

Still, I loved the video and it will go on my collection of cool campaign videos.
