Is the Wright narrative done for now?

I haven't been watching the idiot box much the past couple of days. I think the last thing I watched was a quick back and forth right after The Speech, and was emboldened by the talking heads' responses.
What I have done is pop in here for a few meaningful headlines, and was a little dismayed at seeing the MSM was continuing their unfair, unbalanced media was following their typical routing.
But....
My daughter just got home from pre-school, and so I was forced to relinquish control of the living room TV. I had CNN on all morning, for about 4.5 hours, and it occurred to me that not a word was spoken about Wright. They showed a live snippet of Obama's speech and managed to do it without a Wright segue on either side.
Seems the way these things generally work is that the MSM let's the wingnuts take over the airwaves for a couple days. Then the Dem either ignores it and let's her/himself get hammered, or responds (typically in lame fashion). When they do choose to respond, the MSM puts their spin on the response and again let's the wingnuts take over to redevelop the narrative. Sometimes that narrative takes off, sometimes is dies a slow death, and the faux issue is put to rest for awhile.
I am hopeful that the posts about about the MSM referenced above were in reaction to the redevelopment of the narrative by the wingnuts, and this mornings news cycle and the recent stories about how The Speech has openned up a dialogue about race is evidence that the issue has been put to bed for now.
Anyone else get this feeling?
