Colbert says "Celebrate the Democralypse!" with Charity

The Colbert Report is going on the road, this time to Philadelphia to cover the Democratic Primary. Whenever Colbert goes on the road, he does a fundraiser to help the local community.  See me on the flip to learn how you can help bring funds to PA schools and positive spin to Obama, all at the same time!

Colbert is pitting Obama Supporters against Clinton Supporters, all for a good cause.  The beneficiaries of the money raised will be Pennsylvania public schools.  What's really cool is that you can choose which project to fund.  Teachers with great ideas but not enough money submit proposals to DonorsChoose.org.  You read about the proposals, and then choose one to fund.

You don't have to have a lot of money--you can support a portion of a proposal if you choose.  Some of the ideas are really cool.

The best part?  You can demostrate your support for Obama.  So far, at 6:45pm Eastern, 268 Obama supporters have given $15,331.  Only 52 Clinton supporters have donated a paltry $6,150.

Let's give Barack some positive press, keep him in the lead, and help out some deserving school teachers!
