once again, live community radio...

Hi - Rob here again with All Over The Place on HomeGrownRadioNJ.org, the Internet radio show that's a musical education in three hours or less. Why do I post it here? Good question - wish I had an answer. Just felt it was my job to entertain you as you surfed the web. AOTP runs from 7 pm to 10 pm EST, in other words, right about now. Click on "listen live" to, you know, listen. Live.

About HGRNJ - it's a small community-based Internet radio operation located in Blairstown, NJ. We've been around for over 3 years and we just got our nonprofit status (hence the .org). HGRNJ DJs will play anything and everything!

Drop a comment in if you have a musical request. I've got a 80 GB hard drive and I'm not afraid to use it.

7.05 pm - the new set coming up - Bon Iver, I Am Robot And Proud, Plants And Animals and other shiny new obscurities.

7.30 pm - A fair amount of Gary Numan in celebration of the re-release of Replicas.

8.45 pm - mid-90s/2000s obscurities are on the way - For Against, Doves, Trash Can Sinatras, Go-Betweens among others.

  Sorry you didn't get much in the way of comments.

  I used to be on an FM radio station. Now, I'd like to get a 100 watt transmitter and broadcast to the University of Ky. campus.

  Can you give me some advice about getting a transmitter and antenna, all that? I might just pirate for a while since this area is ridiculously underserved, it's hard to even find FM stations.

    This is the dusty, unused corner of dKos.

    I used to pirate myself - Iowa City Free Radio (1997-98). FCC shut us down. I tried to start a legit small station but it never panned out.
