I'll have one last bitter, please.

I have been advised that my zeal in posting this diary on Saturday night was ill-advised.  You were all out at the bars and pool halls while I was here, begging for justice, and that I needed to give more folks a chance to join in.

Last night, we raised $1,150.10 bucks in 90 minutes.
 This is your chance to join in!

There have been multiple diaries today slamming both John McCain and Hillary Clinton for their disingenuous comments on Barack Obama's sociological truths.  We, in the Reality Based Community have rightly acknowledged, and understood both the power and truth of his comments.  We have taken John and Hillary to task for their deceitful manipulation and misrepresentation of a skillful analysis of the "What's Wrong with Kansas" phenomena in western Pennsylvania.

But I have another idea.

If you have been sitting back and reacting to the reports of Obama's war chest overflowing by deciding that your $10 bucks isn't needed...

If you just feel tapped out and want to save your money for the general...

If you just haven't considered donating, yet...

Let's put the media, the Blabbering Heads, the Super Delegates, and the dying Clinton campaign on notice.

Go out to Barack Obama's web site and drop a little token of your sophistication, Liberal values, education level and understanding on the candidate.

Or parade your Kossack Style and donate here.

Let's overwhelm the site with donations this weekend, to let everyone know that we don't flinch from the truth, don't accept Republican Talking Points, and won't stand for our candidate being maligned in the name of winning at all costs.  Dig up some cash.  Find a fin.  Drop a dime.

Put this whole silly argument to rest in a deluge of money!

  I can't find a diary to post this comment on that doesn't already have 200 comments saying that we should take to the streets of DC, which we shouldn't because all it will do is scare the horses and cause the murderers to declare martial law.

  Let's leaflet the truth all over the nation.

  These leaflets should be the simple truth, with footnotes in high-education localities. Nothing scary. They should have an action item, which we will figure out. They will not mention a candidate

  Put these leaflets of truth under every windshield wiper you see. Place the truth under the noses of thousands of americans, with URLs to sane but truthful websites, maybe the message will be received.

  but Barack gambles by offering the electorate a deep respect by quietly and firmly telling truths. His campaign, to a degree unparalleled in normal campaigning, constantly and repetitively gambles that voters of all stripes, indeed, can handle the truth. It must be at times agony to watch the 'gotcha' spin from opponents and the press while waiting to see if the American citizenry can make intelligent decisions faced with a cacophony of spin.
  So far the voters have showed their common sense by initiating and increasing Obama's winning lead primary numbers.
