Clinton tirade at CA superdelegates, claims Richardson lied

Wed Apr 02, 2008 at 06:41:05 AM PDT

SFgate.com reports here about Bill Clinton's tirade at superdelegates and claim that Bill Richardson said five times to his face he wouldn't endorse Barack Obama.

In fact, before his speech Clinton had one of his famous meltdowns Sunday, blasting away at former presidential contender Bill Richardson for having endorsed Obama, the media and the entire nomination process.

"It was one of the worst political meetings I have ever attended," one superdelegate said.

So the question continues, if the Clintons are treating superdelegates this way, is it bluster, bluff, or collapse?

No matter what the nomination's outcome is, these are people who are "keepers of the flame", and one wonders how Bill's legacy will survive if these people are offended.

Discuss. Does Bill need to chill out?
