So now my question and challenge is to the national media covering the campaign, and especially to the cable TV shows -- from the Situation Room on CNN to the persistently and unashamedly pro-Obama MSNBC nightly cable TV hosts to the New York Times and other national political reporters: Will you headline the current apparent decline of Barack Obama's national Democratic Party strength and the Hillary Clinton surge within the last week alone -- or not?

    I felt sort of inclined to give you a tip here but am worried that I might inadvertantly be supporting some dubious, or perhaps even sordid activity,  that the more respectable members of the community should be cautious about affiliating with in public?   LOL  :-)

    Only after this whole Larry Craig hullaboo, do I realize that if someone in Minniapolis sticks their hand underneath the bathroom stall, this isn't just a freindly mid-Western way of wanting to say hello and shake hands.  

    So now I'm sort of spooked and want to check these things out before tipping and reccing.

  (CNN) – Hillary Clinton began one of the most crucial stretches of her presidential campaign in debt, newly disclosed financial reports show.

  According to campaign reports filed with the Federal Election Commission over the weekend, the New York senator began the month of April with close to $32 million cash-on hand. But only $9 million of that total are funds that are able to be spent in the primary races. The report also showed Clinton owes more than $10 million, meaning the Democratic presidential candidate was in the red even before she heavily stepped up television advertising in Pennsylvania.

  "The numbers are what they are," Clinton adviser Howard Wolfson said on a conference call with reporters. "The money continues to come in strongly. We had a very good month last month of fundraising...we are continuing to have a good month this month."

  We will of course be honoring the debt in the coming weeks and months," he also said.

  The newly released reports offer the clearest picture to date of just how much of an advantage Barack Obama holds over Clinton heading into the final stretch of the prolonged Democratic race for the White House

  •  Hillary's inablility to spend on ad coverage

    Hillary has been spinning Obama's spending in PA as a negative. He should be doing better because he has more to spend than she does. Her inability to spend competitively should be spun by Obama, especially to the super delegates.

    If she really was the front runner, and the people's choice, why doesn't she have as much money as Obama. Either she can pull the money in, and she is just a bad manager. Or she can't pull the money in, and that will hurt her and the party in the fall election.

    Either way, she loses.

    disappear from my TeeVee it's of that hack Wolfson. He's about as butt ugly as the Clinton campaign has become. Reminds me of worm tongue from LOTR with the exception that there is no good king under the doddering fool that is Hillary at this point.

  On Thursday.  A good day on Friday.  By Sat. and Sun. - Obama was back to his polling earlier in the week.  Thursday rolled off of the tracking poll this morning.  There, I just did the analysis - do I get a 6 figure gig in the Traditional Media now.

  is my least favorite person associated with the Clinton campaign.  And that is saying a lot.  Besides that stuttering guy on "Meet the Press" Sunday that Axelrod was sonning for the entire segment, who actually seemed like a decent guy, EVERYONE associated with that campaign is a self serving full of shit blowhard.

  I hope after this campaign that they all go away for good.  Starting with Lanny Davis....and Howard Wolfson and on down the line.

    Are the issue/character tests. How much of the country thinks we're on the wrong track? How many people think Obama's a Muslim? How have the Clinton's negatives increases since the start of this race?

    That's all I look at. Candidate-on-candidate numbers are fool's gold, and Lanny Davis is a bona fide fool.

•  I saw Lanny on some talking heads

  show and was able to conclude that his greatest skill was his ability to talk over people. He did so much of it that I never understood exactly what it was he was trying to say.
