Chester County PA goes for Obama (30% in)

Little diary here.

I note Chester County is supposed to be a bellweather county. - Swing county type place.

I did some back of the envelope calculations of chester county results (with about 30% of precincts reporting.) And Obama was up by 900 votes. Interestingly the CNN totals only show him up by 130 or so there, so I don't know where they are getting their numbers.

  when they catch up percentage-wise with CNN

  with 82.79% of precincts in:

  OBAMA, BARACK (DEM)

  849,204 45.8%
  CLINTON, HILLARY (DEM)

  1,004,510 54.2%

  that differential is 8.4, which would round to 8.  And yet at that point CNN was showing a 10 point margin.

•  Well there was a huge jump

  in Lehigh County that made the numbers 74% for Clinton, but it jumped back to 60%.  My guess is that there was a mistake.

  54.82.  Get it down another .32 and it's a 9 point lead.
