2 More Superdelegates Endorse Obama (now trails by less than 20)

Senator Clinton's seemingly insurmountable lead among superdelegates has dwindled to less than 20.

Yesterday, Sen. Jeff Bingaman (NM) , and former DNC Chairman Paul Kirk (MA) endorsed Obama.  

Today,Senator Clinton picked up Gov. Mike Easley (NC), but Obama picked up Kentucky Representative Ben Chandler and DNC member Richard Machacek (IA).  

According to Machacek

I think it needs to be over, and in good conscience, I can't fly in the face of my precinct, county and district... The raw numbers coming out of the district conventions really sat me down hard."

Obama now trails by only 19 superdelegates.

  The American voters (and superdelegates, too) are too savvy to be led astray by a media that can't seem to find anything better to report on.

    For once, the public's short attention span is not benefitting the spin machine.  The scandals don't stick, and we lose interest so fast it's hilarious.  Maybe because we're all watching the price of gas, health insurance, and food climb so fast we're afraid we can't keep up.

    And we wonder why we're still in the middle of McCain's Hundred Years' War.

    Although it shouldn't be much of a prize, as we don't want a congressman or congresswoman dilly-dallying around waiting to hit the jackpot! Maybe they can be "Dkos' Democrat of the Month" or something?  

    I love how people keep talking while Obama just keeps winning. The "drip, drip, drip" analogy really was a good one!

    It has gotten to the point in this marathon that Barack Obama is leading by a mile and there are only about 200 yards left in the race.
