CA-12: What's the status?

I was checking up on this race.  The Open primary was tonight, but if someone gets over 50%, they will go on to Congress without a general election.  I have seen no news on it.  And I was wondering what was going on with it.  From what I read, this is a very Democratic Seat, so we should be fine.  However, it's unusual to hear nothing on a special election on Daily Kos.

  The only question is whether Speier will hit 50% or not tonight, and chances are she will. But I'd like to see some numbers somewhere.

      Speier just moved to uncommitted a couple of days ago:

      Even more surprising, Speier said that despite her endorsement of Clinton, she would decide whom to vote for after the primary, leaving open the possibility that she'd go for Obama. She declined to say which candidate would get her vote, but her silence itself was revealing.

      Now she may say otherwise tonight, but as of now she's uncommitted.

  Sekula-Gibbs lost big, Speier will win big

  The only drama is the close Board of Aldermen races in Sugar Creek, Missouri.

  Aside from that, all blow outs. Basically.

      From the info I saved, Sugar Creek went 59/40 for Kerry back in 2004.

      I haven't saved the primary info, but I'm betting they went for Clinton. My precinct gave Clinton 70%.

        sadly..

        and Sugar Creek went 65/31 Clinton. While my state house district went 68/29 Clinton, and my precinct went 69/29 Clinton (158-67).

        Much worse than 2004, when my precinct went 46-38 Kerry in the primary (and I provided one of the 38 Edwards votes)
