A HUGE Thank you

Mon May 12, 2008 at 03:21:47 PM PDT

We are very busy, so this is going to be short, but to the point.

When I decided to run for the US Senate, I knew it would mean an amazing amount of work and sacrifice on the part of my family. Having run for Congress in 2006, I also understood the work and sacrifice on the part of volunteers and campaign workers across the state.

What has been an inspiring surprise has been the outpouring of support and encouragement from people around the country via the Internet. I am so humbled to see so many give their time, attention and money to support Nebraska's Brand of Change.

Just amazing.

So, here I am, once again...only this time I want to shout out a heartfelt and resounding THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to the campaign, made calls on our behalf, volunteered to help out and simply commented on our blog posts. You'll never know how much it means to see words of support from so many people...from so many places.

It has been energizing to all of us to know that Nebraska has not been forgotten by the rest of the country. I want to thank all the bloggers who have posted diaries on our behalf and my friends on Facebook who have spread the word.

Tomorrow is Primary Day here in Nebraska, and we are working to make everyone's work pay off. There is still time to do some phone banking, if you feel so inclined.

We will be working until the end of voting tomorrow to make sure we can have an opportunity in November to make Nebraska's Brand of Change a reality.

Again, Thank you so much to all our online friends and supporters. You have no idea what your support means to me, my family and this campaign for change.

Scott
