I'm sick and tired

Update Thanks for the Rec and all the love.
I'm sorry as a AA this must be said I am sick and tired of the double standard that has been going on throughout this primary season and must vent.
Why is it that Obama and Michelle always have to prove their patriotism to the media and pundits and yes some voters with discussions about flag pens when no one else is questioned about there's. Why is it OK for MSM to continue to insist that it's up to Obama to " convince" working whites to vote for him but the white candidates in the race are never questions about why they cant get the working black vote like we are sheep and will blindly fall in line, know matter who the candidate is. Why should he have to convince a bunch of racist it OK to vote for the black man I know he's Bi-Racial, but in the eyes of some he's black.
It's like he has to reassure some people that he's not the stereotypical angry black man. Next they will be asking him to promise not to have family reunions on the south lawn, while playing rap music and eating greens, chicken and watermelon.
Why is it OK for a Governor to make a joke about someone assassinating a Presidential Candidate, and that's funny to some people where is the call for John McCain to reject and denounce those comments and no I don't care if he apologize it doesn't matter, but we hear all day that Obama called a reporter "sweetie" what's the greater sin?
Why is it OK for Pat Buchanan and FOX news to get air time everyday to sprout bigotry and is never call on it.
Where is Obama surrogates? the DNC, people who should have his back, he cant continue to be a one man rapid response team they need to quit hiding, they should be slapping down racism at every turn.
I know it will get worse as we go on, every statement he makes, every action he does, will be put under a different scope because he is AA. It is up to us to have his back we are who we've been waiting for. We will never change the minds of a lot of people in this country but we can call out this behavior every time we see it.
Obama made a great speech about race it opened the door for those who are afraid and misunderstood to join in on the dialogue. You can choose to accept it or not, those that do welcome, those that don't consider yourself warned. I will not tolerate, intolerance, injustice, double standards or any attempt to derailed the prospect of seeing in my lifetime the first experienced, viable and yes intelligent AA candidate for President of the United States. Make know mistake I will cut you to the quick.
Thanks for allowing me to express myself.
