The disinformation campaign proceeds with today's landing and upcoming broadcasts. It is imperative that nobody outside this project's distribution list find out the true conditions on Mars.
The increasing rate of climate change on Earth has accelerated the ARK project but it is anticipated that the original evacuation dateline of REDACTED will be adequate.

Funding remains adequate - and hidden - in 'black' spending budgets.
Construction of a large scale space transport prototype is underway using reverse engineered technology. Previous smaller scale vehicles have been tested successfully.
We have been informed that - with regret - our extraterrestrial contacts must adhere to their non-intervention policy. They will offer no direct aid to us but will not interfere with our efforts using 'acquired' technology made available through crashes and equipment failures. Their policy leaves us free to pursue any options available within our own solar system but a quarrantine remains in effect. No members of the human race will be allowed outside this system per the rules and regulations issued by the alien alliance in effect for all life forms.
While the ARK project is still viewed as a 'last resort' option and will hopefully not be implemented as intended, the project timetable evaluating worthy candidates is being accelerated. The percentage of 'exempt' candidates has yet to be established. It is still believed that some will choose to remain in place on Earth given the still substantial risks in establishing a Mars outpost.
It is felt that REDACTEDREDACTEDREDACTED can be accommodated in the first wave - presuming that the build schedule remains unaltered. It will be imperative to keep this program secret if we intend to build up the population. If the world population believes that the situation on Earth is viewed as hopless - which is most emphatically NOT the official position taken in creating this effort - there could be real panic which would only worsen the situation.
Expansion of the program will continue on an accelerated schedule depending of the exact circumstances found by the initial exploratopry group - due to establish a beachhead in REDACTED.
Again, it is imperative to continue with the current efforts portraying Mars as an uninhabitable planet, unsuitable for life as we know it.
Don't you wonder if something like this is really out there? .........
actually, my sources tell me it's all a sham - a program designed as a 'trap' for the world's WORST 'leaders', a way to shuttle the 'elite' off to a "Brave New World" where they THINK they can survive while the rest of us go extinct.... the scientists figure that this was the easiest way to get rid of all those making real progress on Earth so diffficult.....
