Kossak Fantasy Cabinet Tournament: Should We Start One? poll

Ok, the race isn't over yet, but I think it would be a great deal of fun to set up a fantasy cabinet tournament for an Obama administration. Here's how it would work:

1. I will post a nominating diary for each position.

   A. I will list my choice in the diary.
   B. I will include the mission statement for the department they will be heading up.

2. All Kossak's can submit the name of their top choice for that postion.

3. It is recommended that at the time of nomination that the best case be laid out for your choice. Include links. Debate others nominees right in that diary, make your case for or against.

Remaining description below the fold:

4. All individuals with two recs will be considered nominees.

5. Once nominees are gathered I will post a poll with all available names. If the nominees outnumber the available vote lines I will limit the group to the top recommended nominees. I will break ties if the last available line is in contention.

6. Vote for your favorite in that poll.

7. Winner will be first to reach a majority after 24 hours, or when I can next get the chance to post the results.

8. If no one reaches a majority I will drop off anyone not clearing 10% in the that round or the person last on the list until someone reaches a majority.

9. I will post a cabinet post round up diary after the Kossak nominee is selected.

          ...Rogneid could do a separate diary - I think yours is more along the "possibilities" line, as opposed to "what if..." line and would keep it separate (IMO).
