Julia Louis-Dreyfus proclaims her support for Obama!

This from the Huffpost just now: In a blog on Huffpost, Julia Louis- Dreyfus proclaims her support for Obama!

I don't know how to block in cut-and-paste text or I would do so here. Still, I was interested and excited to read this in light of all the WVWV stuff.  The title of her blog is: A Point of Clarification.

She also sternly denounces the Lamont Williams calls.

    For the record even though I apologized for her before, her blog post is inaccurate.

    She apparently is only aware of the problems in NC, not that the WVWV did the same thing in many states, and has been doing the same thing for months.

    As a high profile person, she could call for an answer from them.

  I find it very hard to believe that Dreyfus didn't know that her PSA would be interpreted as supporting Hillary.  I mean, she's urging woment to elect a woman for President.  Are there any women other than Hillary running for President this year?  I find her claim of ignorance a bit hard to swallow, plus the fact that she decided not to request that they pull the PSA.

    How can Dreyfus frame herself as an Obama supporter, and yet do PSA's promoting the idea of a woman president?

    She needs to be consistent.  

    She needs to make a different PSA.

  In question, so I can't comment on it. I heard that she says something about imagining a woman in the oval office. Nonetheless, in her blog, in her own words, she says that she proudly supports Obama for president. That doesn't seem very vaccilating or wishy-washy to me.

  Who knows, maybe she was a paid shill for WVWV and they wrote the script.

      Dreyfus needs to disavow WVWV COMPLETELY, because they have been INTENTIONALLY doing a program of BLACK voter disinformation in multiple states.

      I don't care about what WVWV's supposed noble mission is,

      the bottom line is that so much bad stuff has been done by WVWV , repeatedly, that it cannot just be innocent errors and incompetence.

  ... Huffpo, it is clear that she is an Obama supporter, and she did one PSA for this organization -- that is all.

  She just did an advertisement and yadda, yadda, yadda, they're trying to confuse voters in North Carolina.

  Seriously, though, her post is dead on, and as nuanced and brilliant as she is.

  She should be lauded for her support for Obama and her support for the need to get women registered and into voting booths. She's not on the board for WVWV, and she has no input into what that organization does on a daily basis. She did a great thing for the right reasons for an entity that, lately, has been doing some bad things for all the wrong reasons.
