"Dignity Promotion". Not "Democracy Promotion".

Obama's supposedly "poor performance" in the ABC Debate was not poor at all, despite what the MSM says.

I believe it was a chance for the American people to reflect on the "Politics of Divisiveness" versus the "Politics of Dignity."

The more I watch Obama, the more I feel that "Dignity Promotion" will be a foundational piece of his administration, both in domestic policy and foreign policy.

more after the fold

In an interview with "Obama's foreign-policy brain trust," Spencer Ackerman of the American Prospect sought to understand what he calls, "The Obama Doctrine."

They envision a doctrine that first ends the politics of fear and then moves beyond a hollow, sloganeering "democracy promotion" agenda in favor of "dignity promotion," to fix the conditions of misery that breed anti-Americanism and prevent liberty, justice, and prosperity from taking root.

I believe Obama's focus on dignity is what makes him stand apart.

When Clinton said, "You can't choose your family, but you can choose your pastor" and "I wouldn't have stayed in that church," Obama did not retort, "I wouldn't have stayed in a marriage with a spouse who repeatedly defiles the institution of marriage, Hillary. But that's your perogative."

Why?

Is it because he's a wimp?

Is it because he's not "a fighter"?

No.

It is because Obama is a man with dignity. And he hopes to bring the country to a higher place through his presidency.

As I watch the race unfold, I keep asking myself the following question: Why are our presidential candidates allowed to speak like petulant children?

If my child took shots at another child with the type of language that Hillary has been using on the trail, I would immediately scold him to "Grow up! Adults don't talk like that."

So why do the press and others allow the candidates to act like immature children who would normally deserve a spanking?

It really is amazing to me....

So quickly have people forgotten Obama's speech on race in Philadelphia.

It was a speech in which he implored us to remember that everyone has concerns and everyone has anger.

At the same time, he implored us to keep in mind that the only way that we can resolve the concerns and quell the anger is to come together and work together.

Not call each other names like petulant children.

What a novel idea that--having the people in the States of America actually Unite to solve our mutual problems.

Rather than calling each other names.
