My tradition, primary day Obama donation, care to join?

Tue May 06, 2008 at 04:00:39 PM PDT

I have a new tradition.  Every caucus and primary, I like to make a donation to the Obama campaign to keep his numbers and momentum up.  I figure it is one of the ways I can still keep showing ongoing support for him even though my state caucus has passed.

I believe his money raising abilities have been one of the most important keys to his success to date.  The superdelegates cannot ignore this kind of ability to appeal to 1.5 million people to give their hard earned money.

So here is the deal.  Anytime Hillary beats Obama in a contest, I commit to donating a certain amount of money for each percentage point she leads by.

Being slammed with a ton of unexpected bills lately, I will commit to giving Senator Obama $10 for every percentage point she leads by in the end, if she leads at all, or a minimum of $25 if he wins both.

Anyone care to make a pledge too?

Quick update...I am off to work, so I can't respond to comments, but come on folks, let's show our support in a concrete way that really has an impact.  Give what you can, even if it is just well-wishing.

Update2:  Please rec this so others get in the giving spirit.  Now I am really off to work.
