This diary will be short, since my only source is a single line of text. Yeah, I know. :(
The Page and Ben Smith are reporting that Clinton gave $6.4 million dollars to her campaign. I'll expand this diary with more info as I get it from either the AP, or other sources.
Lest you forget, here is her debt situation at the end of April.
The $9.3 million figure in the WaPo article does not, I believe, include the original $5 million loan. Now, Clinton is at least $11.4 million in debt to herself, and at least $9.3 million in debt to firms doing work for her campaign.
UPDATE: Alright, since more information seems to be slow in coming, I'm going to provide a bit of analysis.
It is perfectly clear that this loan will not be repaid before the end of the primary race. Sen. Clinton has been doing worse and worse in terms of debt and cash on hand ever since Super Tuesday. Her requests for money have become more and more frequent and urgent ("Go to www.hillaryclinton.com!").
At this point, there is no difference between Sen. Clinton giving herself a loan, and a multi-millionare financing his or her own campaign. Indeed, this is precisely what is happening. Sen. Clinton is simply doing it in such a way that is not attackable.
UPDATE 2: No new info, but the AP confirms, through The Page and Ben Smith.
UPDATE 3: Heh. Apparently you guys hate Drudge. I don't blame you; he's a scumbag, but he gets the goods. I changed the link at the top to more "reputable" sources.
UPDATE 4: Finally, an AP article! Unfortunately, it tells you nothing you already know.
